Something just as important as the dress on your big day are the shoes you decide to wear with it. Of course there are many options out there but the following ones are a couple of my favourite styles of wedding shoes.
Lace wedding shoes are always a great option since lace is such a beautiful and feminine fabric, and they will add a touch of vintage to your wedding ensemble.
The shoes on the left feature a medium size heel, so it won't be hard to walk in them, and the small bow at the front adds an extra girly look to the shoes. The model on the right are very similar to the shoes I wore to my wedding ceremony. They have a bit of a higher heel, perfect if you are petite and desire to add a few extra inches to show off your dress. The shoes on the right also feature a peep-toe that would look great at a summer wedding and they also allow you to show off your pedicure!

If you find walking in high heels a bit of a challenge, you might benefit from wearing wedge wedding shoes as they will give you more stability. The model on the left features a peep-toe and strap embellished with sparkly jewels to add more glamour to your look. The strap design means there is no risk of you losing your footwear as you dance the night away. The shoes on the right feature a lovely fabric bow design on the front with an embellishment in the middle, to add a subtle bit of sparkle to your shoes. The beautiful champagne colour in shiny satin fabric reminds me of the shoes I wore to my wedding reception and they will match a gorgeous vintage looking dress.

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by RoseGal which is a fast growing global online fashion store that offers the very best in retro styles and unique vintage fashion products as well as the latest style in clothing and accessories. They asked if I would like to review an item from their website, so I chose this long sleeve embroidered sweater (find it here).
What caught my attention was the contrasting panel of lace/crochet on the back and shoulder section of the sweater. I think it is really pretty and definitely adds a feminine touch to the jumper.
The material is very soft to the touch and quite thin, so it would be best suited for when it is not too cold outside, so I layered it with a pink top underneath.
When I opened the package it came in, I was a little bit surprised by the size of the sweater as I thought it would be a little bit bigger because on the website pictures it looks very oversized on the model, but I forgot to check the measurements of the top so I am the only one to blame for that haha. It still fits nicely, I think :)

A bit late, but finally here! The boots I ordered late October but arrived in November. I had a pair of lace-up boots from New Look but they weren't leather and thought it was time for an upgrade, this ones are really comfortable and warm.
On a day out shopping, my hubby was looking for new jeans in Topman, and while he tried some on I spotted those stud earrings for just £1, and then the headband for 50p in New Look.
The nail polish I won on a competition but Cheeky is now available to buy in Superdrug. And the Fred Perry accessories I also won on another competition. The rings and necklace are from Rings and Tings.
Have you finished your Christmas Shopping?

Did you see the moon this morning? It looked huge! I took a few pictures and will upload them soon :)
This week I was waiting for my Look magazine to come but it didn't and then looked at the date on the one from last week, turns out it is supposed to be "next week's one" so there was no new magazine to read this week ;( ha.

When you are planning your wedding, the most important thing to consider is your wedding dress.
There are lots of factors to take into account when choosing your dress, but hopefully this little guide will help you out.
If you have chosen to have a church wedding you might like something more classic, like a long white lace wedding dress, but if your wedding is taking place at a registry office you could go for something a bit more casual like a short dress.
Here are a couple of my favourite dresses from the DressV Wedding Dresses 2014 collection:
I love the all over lace fabric on the first one, it looks very classic and beautiful, while the flower detail under the bust adds a vintage touch. The sweetheart neckline makes it look a bit sexy too, by leaving your arms uncovered. I am a big fan of lace, my own wedding dress was an all lace one.
If you prefer something more simple, the second dress might be for you. With it's flattering v-neck and smooth skirt in flowy chiffon fabric, you can look fabulous without having too much going on. The detail on the top half adds a bit of luxury and elegance to keep the dress from looking too plain.
When you are having a tough time choosing between 2 different styles of dresses, you can always wear one for the ceremony during the day, and wear your other choice at the reception party (which is what I did!).
I know, you are probably thinking that wedding dresses are very expensive and there is no way you could afford to have 2 to wear on your big day, but if you have a look on DressV you will find an amazing variety of dresses for very low prices so you can have the wedding dress you always dreamed of!
