Really like this pink coat from New Look that I got some time ago, don't really wear it that often but I do love the colour and fluffy texture. Had today off work and Monday's bank holiday so I'm off as well. Tomorrow we'll be going to the cinema to watch the new Captain America film in the afternoon.
Have a nice weekend!

Designer Wedding Dresses at Cocomelody

Spring is finally here, which means warmer weather and beautiful sunny days, perfect for celebrating one of the most special occasions of your life, which is your wedding. At Cocomelody you can find a great range of up and coming designer wedding dresses to perfectly suit your style and shape. Below are just a couple of my current favourite dresses from Cocomelody.

The dress on the left has a vintage feel to because of the form and material, which I love. The dress is fitted on the bodice part and has a V shaped neckline with a delicate tulle fabric overlay on the bodice and shoulders, giving the appearance of a sheer sleeve to delicately cover them in case you are not very comfortable with baring your shoulders. From the shoulders, through the bodice and fading down towards the middle of the skirt, the dress has beautiful embellished flower patterns that give it more interest and texture. From the knees down, the skirt flares out, giving it a mermaid shape and on the back the dress features a low back with a train composed of the same tulle material that covers the shoulders.

The range at Cocomelody also includes a line wedding dresses, like the one pictured on the right side. This dress has a more modern feel to it and to me it also looks very regal, like something a princess would wear and reminds me of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn's style. This sheath dress has a fitted bodice with a cleavage gently shaped in the sweetheart style, both covered in a lace overlay that goes up to the shoulders to create feminine and delicate cap sleeves. On the back, the closure uses fabric covered buttons and to accentuate the waist the dress has a sash made out of satin fabric. The skirt flares out from the waist down into a voluminous tulle skirt with a short train.

Those are only a couple of my favourite picks but have a look on the Cocomelody website for lots more options.

The Spring Summer Wishlist

spring summer must haves

You might have had a look at my 5 Spring Summer must haves post, I've actually already acquired a couple of items off that list in February (quite ahead of time really), but there are still some items that have caught my eye recently and I might purchase in the following weeks to update my warm weather wardrobe.

I've been thinking of a few pieces that I want to purchase to update my wardrobe for spring, I really would like to get a denim jacket, lighter skinny jeans, an a-line skirt, a rain coat and some leather sandals.

Hanky Panky Bralette

Hanky Panky Bralette
One of my preferred underwear styles are bralettes as they are so much more comfortable than your standard underwired bra. I've had a few bralettes, and a couple of lace ones which weren't very soft so I wasn't sure if the Hanky Panky one would be.

The Hanky Panky Signature Lace Crossover Bralette* has adjustable straps and no back closure, so it just slips on. The Chai (nude) colour is a very close match to my skin tone which is great, the lace is very soft and stretchy and the elastic band under the bust is also super stretchy and very comfortable.

The only thing that I would change about it is that the cups are not lined, so it can be a bit see through, but other than that, it is an amazing, beautiful and comfortable option to wear, especially if you don't need a lot of support from your underwear.

Find the Hanky Panky Signature Lace Crossover Bralette on UKLingerie.com

Record Store Day

David Bowie The man who sold the world

On Saturday it was Record Store Day and we got up nice and early to get ready as soon as the nearest record shop, Adrian's in Wickford, opened.

On Record Store Day, many artists release special edition vinyl only available at independent stores, and my husband was after the Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' El Mexicano, which features my national flag printed on it; and also Peter Doherty's The Whole World Is Our Playground.

The shop actually opened at 8 on Saturday but only for the day, and we got there at 9, without much hope of finding what we were after but my husband actually got both vinyls and I got David Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World.

Did you get any special records on Saturday?

The weekend is here! Tomorrow is record store day so might go and have a look in the nearest record shops as my husband really wants to get some special edition records.
Can't believe that it's finally getting warmer. The last couple of days I had to go out in the garden at work I didn't even need my coat! Very happy about this haha.

A Haul Video

If you read my post about A Day in London you'll know that I did a bit of shopping after going to the embassy to renew my passport. And as I couldn't wait to post about it, and also since I don't excercise my Spanish speaking skills as much as I would like, I made a video in Spanish where I talk about the things I got in London that day. If you don't speak Spanish, worry not as I will be writing that New In post soon to show you what I got.

Garnier makeup remover
The Works sticky note set organiser#
Jobis leather backpack
Nikon 50 mm lens
Effaclar K

Last month I got a new makeup remover, the Garnier Skin Naturals Makeup Remover, as I was running out of my previous one. Also I had some money off on my The Works rewards card and got yet another sticky note set haha.
From TK Maxx I got one of their own brand backpack. I really liked it but noticed the stitching was a bit defective on one of the straps and returned it.
I also finally bought a 50mm lens for my camera, and I love it (I took the picture of the box with it) you can see how sharp and bright the image is.
And last but not least, the Effaclar K which I found on the clearance section in Boots, I think there's a new version that's come out which is why this one was on sale.

A day in London

Like I said on my previous post, on Monday we went to London as it's the nearest place I can go to get my passport renewed. This time I've done it for 10 years so I don't have to worry about it for a decade (!)

Anyway, because the embassy is right near Oxford Street (you know the one - massive shops all next to each other) we went to have a little look. Expect to see a couple of bits in a New In post soon.

Super Facialist Pore Purifying Clay Mask

Super Facialist Pore Purifying Clay Mask

A pore purifying/deep cleansing mask for oily or blemish prone skin is a must have, so when I was about to run out of my Sanctuary Warming Detox Mask, I went out and got the Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Pore Purifying Clay Mask, which I had wanted to try for some time.

It claims to be a detoxifying mask that unclogs pores thanks to the use of salicylic acid. It also contains Dead Sea Mud which is oil-absorbing, and moisturising shea butter, avocado oil and honey. This face mask has a bit of a powdery smell that I don't quite like but after a couple of uses I don't really notice it any more.

The Super Facialist Pore Purifying Clay Mask is simple to use, just apply to clean skin and leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse off with warm water and pat dry. I use it twice a week and I like that it makes my skin feel clean, soft and smooth. It's also quite affordable at £10, though it's on offer most of the time.
